The concert on the holiday sold out

On July 4, the Day of Workers of the Sea and River Fleet, a large concert of the ANMSU Variety Orchestra was successfully held on the stage of FESCO HALL. Because of the rain, the premiere of the concert program RUSSIAN ROCK took place in the FESCO HALL. Despite the emergency change of the venue, the audience was notified of this on time, and the concert was sold out in accordance with the restrictions due to the coronavirus. The audience greeted their favorite vocalists-rockers with warm applause. During the two-hour concert, held in one breath without intermission, lovers of Russian rock heard familiar melodies from the compositions of famous bands in arrangements and adaptations for a symphony pops orchestra performed by the ANMSU orchestra (artistic director and conductor Anatoly Yakimenko). The concert impressed the audience with its scale, brightness of colors, video installations, powerful sound and light. The audience stood up and greeted the artists with long applause expressing their gratitude for the pleasure of hearing their favorite rock compositions in excellent performance. Surprisingly, this youth musical movement originated at the very beginning of the sixties of the last century in the USSR. A powerful global rock wave broke through the Iron Curtain and poured into the youth environment. The first compositions were created by musicians under the influence of American and European rock music. Over time, Russian rock acquired its own face and distinctive features, both in terms of subject matter and in its various directions. The patriotic and lyrical components of the songs in the style of Russian rock were strong. It is for this that the works of famous rock bands are still popular. This was once again confirmed by the last concert on the stage of FESCO HALL.
