Youth`s motto at the Forum East: «Dreams are not the wind»

The All-Russian Youth Educational Forum «East» which worked under that slogan brought together 150 activists from all over the country. Among its active participants was Ekaterina Lopatkina, the teacher of the Lyceum of the G.I. Nevelskoy MSU. She shares her impressions of a large-scale youth event that took place on the territory of the FEFU campus. – The face-to-face meeting of the Forum participants was preceded by two weeks of the online stage, and from 22 to 29 August the long-awaited event of the all-Russian scale took place. Hospitable Vladivostok appeared before the guests in all its glory and met the active youth of the country with excellent weather and warm sea. The organizers of the Forum did everything possible for their safety and comfort: masks, gloves, antiseptics, thermometry and social distance became integral companions of the participants. The Forum included a rich educational program: master classes, expert presentations, talk shows with the participation of invited experts. The speakers were Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Grigory Kuranov, Hero of Russia, Pilot-Cosmonaut of the Russian Federation Sergey Avdeev, Head of the Roscongress Foundation in Vladivostok Maxim Yakovenko, Deputy Head of the Social Projects Department of the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East and Arctic» Svetlana Gorshunova, participant of the project» Decision. City» Anastasia Razmakhnina, lawyer, advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Valery Rytvin and others. An important part of the forum was «Igropraktika», during which 15 ten-member teams formulated the challenges of the Far East and proposed their solutions. With the participation of trackers - game masters, youth teams mastered the design technology «Territorial code», tested ideas on a crash test. Several days of discussions and searches led to the creation of projects for the development of the territories of the Far East. The teams were able to present their decisions to stakeholders and to other teams on the final day of the Forum -. Many guys came to the Forum with their projects to participate in the grant track of Rosmolodezh. On August 26, the final defense took place, at which, in three minutes, the authors of the projects had to tell about the goal, objectives, uniqueness of social projects and answer the questions of experts. The results of the defense became known at the official closing ceremony of the forum on August 28. Out of 87 applications submitted, 18 projects received grant support. Among them is my project «Our Hearts Demand Change», the goal of which is to create a safe developmental environment in 100 schools in the Far East and other regions of Russia through the use of 300 sets of board games developed with the participation of the students. The amount of the grant for the project is 700 thousand rubles. Previously, the project was supported by the Vladivostok City Administration within the framework of the Youth Initiative project competition for implementation in the city's educational institutions, but after the announcement of the project, teachers and students from 28 constituent entities of the Russian Federation expressed a desire to join it, after which it was decided to scale the project and present it at the All-Russian Forum. I have a busy academic year ahead of me and the implementation of the project «Our hearts demand changes».
