The high level of innovative projects of the University`s youth noted in the semi-final of the UMNIK Competition

On November 14, the semi-final of the selection round of the UMNIK Program organized by the Center for Training Scientific and Pedagogical Staff together with the Innovation Promotion Foundation was held at the G.I. Nevelskoy MSU. Holding the event at the University has become traditional and helps young scientists to realize themselves in research activities. Highly qualified specialists were involved to carry out an examination of projects in the H1 directions announced for the semifinals Digital technology and H4. New devices and intelligent manufacturing technologies. The University`s young researchers (up to 30 years old inclusive) presented 12 innovative scientific and technical projects, of which six projects were prepared by graduate students, and six more by cadets and students. For most of the semi-final participants, this was the first public appearance before the expert community, but, nevertheless, they were able to adequately present their projects and sensibly answer all the questions of the commission members. Experts noted that the scientific level of young scientists of the university increased, and the presentations of the contestants fully met the requirements of the competition.
