Following the results of the round table, the best reports were marked by diplomas, which were presented by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A.D. Yuzov. The report of Nikita Medvedev and Alexander Retiev MSQD took first place. A group of five students: Oleg Khalantsev, Dmitry Korneychuk, Vladimir Panasenko, Nikita Loskutov and Konstantin Rodionov took second place with a multimedia presentation on the pioneer of domestic programming Andrei Ershov. This scientist coined the term computer science to refer to the science associated with the methods of processing, storage and transmission of information using computers, and became the first programmer elected to the Academy of Sciences in the Department of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Automation. A report by Vsevolod Kharchenko Contribution of Russian scientists to the development of information technology, artificial intelligence systems took third place. The success and interest in the seminar was largely due to the good preparatory work of the associate professor, honorary professor of the Department of Automatic and Information Systems, Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Natalia Levchenko.
