Research Work

The Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University conducts fundamental and applied research and development, which are an integral part of training specialists.

Forms of organizing research work at the University are diverse. They are doing state budget research, conducting fundamental and applied research through participation in federal and interuniversity science and technology programs, competitions for grants, and the implementation of research results in the national economy on the basis of economic contracts.

The University regularly organizes scientific events (conferences, seminars, round tables and scientific readings) on maritime education, training students, transport, environment, and activities focusing on social and political issues, and national security affairs. The University organizes and participates in scientific, technical and investment exhibitions organized by the Center for Intellectual Property Protection.

The University is actively and successfully engaged in joint activities with enterprises and organizations of the Far Eastern region, fruitfully cooperates with legislative and executive branches of the Primorsky Territory, research institutes of the Far Eastern and Siberian Branches of Russian Academy of Sciences: VE Zuyev Institute of Atmospheric Optics, Institute of Automation of Control Processes, VI Ilyichev Pacific Oceanological Institute, Far Eastern Federal University, Research and Design Institute of Merchant Marine, as well as with foreign organizations. MSU is actively involved in innovative conferences, competitions, sites, forums and fairs.
