On February 12, diplomas were awarded to 13 young specialists of the 27th class of the specialty Technical Operation of Transport Radio Equipment (profile Radio Communication and Marine Radio-Radio Navigation) of the Electric Engineering Faculty of the G.I. Nevelskoy MSU. Rector Denis Burov awarded diplomas to the graduates. He congratulated the them on completing their training at the University and recalled how he taught them the introduction to a number of disciplines, and the then freshmen had a lot of «why`s»: why do we need this, why should we come to understand this ourselves? ... In his congratulation, Dean of the Electric Engineering Faculty Sergey Glushkov noted an important trend: the role of radio electronic engineers in the merchant marine has increased significantly, now they carry out information protection of ship networks. By the way, a certificate of competence of a second-class radio electronics engineer allows a graduate of the Maritime University to hold the position of a radio electronics officer in passenger ships, icebreakers and fishing fleet vessels. The work is high-tech, responsible, but very well paid. The need for such specialists is very large.
